AHS temporarily closes Rimbey restaurant due to ‘heavy mice droppings’ in food, on utensils, shelves

RIMBEY – Alberta Health Services (AHS) temporarily closed Happy Valley Restaurant located at 5018 50 Avenue in Rimbey.

The AHS health inspector notes “heavy mice droppings (were) observed on several shelves throughout the facility, on utensils, on food containers, and in some ingredients.”

The AHS order is dated Jan. 20, 2021, but doesn’t seem to have been posted onto their website for the public until after the order was lifted and stamped “inactive.”
