AHS temporarily closes salon in Grand Cache for unsanitary conditions

Alberta Health Services (AHS) temporarily closed Euro Tech Hair Design at 1329 Shoppers Mall in Grande Cache for unsanitary conditions.

The Sept. 25 AHS temporary closure order – which is now inactive – showed that a piercing gun, scissors and clippers weren’t being cleaned and disinfected in between clients.

In addition, work stations weren’t being cleaned and disinfected in between clients and hair was present on razor blades, piercing guns, waxing pot, scissors, clippers, hairbrushes and combs.
