United We Roll truck convoy travelled from Red Deer to Ottawa in February. They left Red Deer this morning headed to Edmonton.
“We’re proud of our oil and gas industry, we’re proud of our clean resources, we’re proud of the hardworking Canadians and it’s a point of pride actually. We’re taking the opportunity to show that we champion Canada’s resources,” said Haley Wile, a United We Roll organizer.’
“Please remember this is not the kids we are upset with as they are innocent really,” said United We Roll organizers on Facebook. “This is a rally to show Trudeau that we will stand up against attacks against our Canadian Resources.”
United We Roll’s Facebook page says “National Motor Coach is bringing their beautiful bus to join our convoy tomorrow!! If you were thinking of coming but didn’t know how….hop on the bus! The bus will bring you to Edmonton and return to Red Deer after the Rally. The bus will be at Gort’s Truck Wash around 6:30 am. First come first served seating. Join us as we champion Canadian Energy!
