Blackfalds supports Canadian Energy

BLACKFALDS – Blackfalds council unanimously voted in favour of backing Canadian Energy by endorsing the Resource Communities of Canada Coalition’s respectful and positive campaign to enhance pan-Canadian municipal collaboration in support of responsible resource development.

“The goal of the campaign is to help municipalities understand how our Canadian energy industry is intertwined with their communities and seek support for responsible resource development through education of elected officials, CAO’S and administrative staff,” said Mayor Richard Poole in a prepared statement.
