VIDEO: Calgary Police ticket woman for refusing to self-isolate after testing positive for COVID-19

As requested, the Calgary Police Service has issued two summonses under the Public Health Act.

  • On Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at approximately 8 p.m., a $1,200 summons was issued to a 38-year-woman for allegedly refusing to self-isolate after testing positive for COVID-19. She is scheduled to appear in court on June 11, 2020.
  • On Friday, April 3, at approximately 5:15 p.m., a $1,200 summons was issued to Artur PAWLOWSKI, for allegedly holding a public gathering of more than 15 people at Olympic Plaza. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 12, 2020.
