Canadian fitness chain offers free daily workouts, yoga sessions on Instagram, Facebook for people confined to homes

TORONTO- With fitness clubs across the country closed and workout routines disrupted, Movati Athletic is giving Canadians the chance to get some exercise and relieve some stress.

Movati Athletic, a 23-year-old Canadian fitness chain with 16 locations in Ontario is live streaming online classes until early April – free and open to the public on Instagram and Facebook Live.

Classes will be 30-45 minutes in length and will include a variety of Movati’s most popular classes including Yoga, Meditation, Pilates, Barre Physique Cardio, Strength and more.

Instagram followers will be notified when the live stream begins, and classes are currently scheduled at regular intervals morning, afternoon and evening.  Minimal equipment is required and all workouts will be led by Movati’s certified group fitness instructors.

“We know how important it is for everyone to stay fit and healthy and this is Movati’s way of giving back to Canadians with a safe alternative to in-club training,” said Chuck Kelly, Movati CEO. “We’re proud of the calibre of our fitness instructors. We want to share their talent and expertise with the public in a way that continues to encourage healthy social distancing.”

Movati temporarily suspended club operations March 16 to help protect the health and safety of its members, club team and community.
