Hinton RCMP seeking for wanted man

HINTON – Hinton RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance to locate 36-year old Preston Pointe Munro Deveny of Fort St. James, British Columbia.

Hinton RCMP received reports of Deveny in the town of Hinton on June 27, 2020. He was spotted near MacLeod Avenue and Mountain Street around 11:30 a.m., and then again around 12 p.m. near Carmichael Lane and Meier Street.

Despite attempts, Hinton RCMP have been unable to locate him.

Preston Pointe Munro Deveny, 36, is described as:

Deveny was last seen wearing a green fishing hat, grey long sleeve shirt, and black pants. He is believed to still be in the Hinton area, possibly in an older model blue coloured car, as seen on video surveillance today.

Hinton RCMP are asking the public’s assistance for any information in relation to Deveny’s whereabouts.

The public are cautioned not to approach Preston Pointe Munro Deveny, but to contact the Hinton RCMP at 780-865-2455, 911 or your local police.
