PM Justin Trudeau’s ‘hair flip’ goes viral

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s iconic “hair flip” is going viral after someone made a slow-motion video of the flip complete with sultry music in the background.

Jason Hanson of Ottawa made the slow-motion video. It’s had about 192,000 shares on Facebook.

Comments on social media are akin to Trudeaumania.

Trudeau’s first hair flip April 18 went viral on Facebook with millions of views.

Then it happened again during a press conference April 25 while Trudeau gave an update on COVID-19 in front of Rideau Cottage.

Trudeau’s hair flips aren’t the first time his press conferences have created a chuckle. During one of his COVID-19 updates on April 7, he said “speaking mostly” and immediately regretted his choice of words and said “what a terrible image.”
