RCMP investigate about 20 cases of counterfeit bills in Grand Prairie

GRAND PRAIRIE – Grande Prairie RCMP are investigating after about 20 incidents of counterfeit Canadian currency turning up at multiple businesses in the area.

The bills were in a variety of denominations and were used to pay for goods at local businesses.

RCMP remind the public these types of incidents are occurring locally. Police continue to investigate these incidents and encourage the public and business owners to report transactions involving suspected counterfeit currency.
