Red Robin burger chain closing all Alberta locations

Red Robin is closing all of its Alberta restaurants by the end of 2019.

All five restaurants are in the Edmonton area; Clareview Campus, Rideau Park, Tera Losa, Windermere and Sherwood Park.

Another location in Edmonton on 112 Street and 104 Avenue closed earlier this year.

Red Robin – known for its bottomless fries and expansive burger choices -has 17 Canadian locations. They have 12 restaurants in B.C.

Other big-name stores are also closing in Alberta. Starbucks is closing five locations in Edmonton and Tony Roma’s is closing four in Edmonton. Starbucks said the closures were a “normal part of doing business.”
