Calgary Police ask public’s help locating ‘person of interest’ in fatal stabbing

Calgary Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a person of interest in the fatal stabbing that occurred in Panorama Hills this morning.

Investigators immediately need to speak to 19-year-old Michael ELENDU. He is described as 6’3″ tall, with a slim build, brown eyes and black hair.

The stabbing was reported to us at approximately 10:45 a.m., today, Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020. We were called to a residence located in the 200 block of Panatella Court N.W., for reports of a man suffering from stab wounds. EMS attended the scene and located the male deceased.

At this time, it is believed the stabbing was not random. Detectives continue to speak with witnesses and are investigating this incident as a homicide.
