Elk Point RCMP investigate abandoned puppies on Frog Lake First Nations

FROG LAKE – On Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, Elk Point RCMP located three abandoned puppies along Highway 897 in Frog Lake First Nations.

The animals appear to have been abandoned along a rural stretch of Highway 897 with no houses nearby. Human tracks were located where the puppies were found. Police feared for the well-being and the safety of the animals and were brought in to foster care.
