World leaders ‘meet’ in Switzerland to discuss ‘Great Reset’ where people ‘Will own nothing and will be happy’

SWITZERLAND – The Davos 2021 World Economic Forum (WEF) starts Jan. 25 with more than 1,200 delegates from 60 countries participating in the virtual event.
“The Great Reset” is the theme of a unique twin summit to be convened by the 51st WEF annual meeting. The world’s top influential leaders in politics, business, civil society, academia, media and the arts participate. The Davos Agenda in 2021 features participation from heads of State and government, CEOs, civil society leaders, global media and youth leaders from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and North America.
“We only have one planet and we know that climate change could be the next global disaster with even more dramatic consequences for humankind,” said Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum.
“We have to decarbonize the economy in the short window still remaining and bring our thinking and behaviour once more into harmony with nature.”
This year the WEF will also focus on 2021 as “A crucial year to rebuild trust” built around the “Great Reset” that WEF founder Klaus Schwab and Prince Charles launched in 2020.
The WEF will be accompanied by virtual events in 430 cities across the world to highlight that there are global challenges requiring global solutions and action.
The WEF’s vision of a Great Reset says more global action is needed to change society, to make the world more inclusive and cohesive, to match environmental sustainability with social sustainability and to “Build Back Better.“
The WEF wants action on seven key themes including environmental sustainability, fairer economies, “tech for good,” the future of work and need for reskilling, better business, healthy futures with fair access for all, and national governments collaborating globally.
To accomplish this, the WEF says it’s crucial to reestablish public trust, which they say is being eroded due to the mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The WEF says bold initiatives are needed to reduce the unsustainable inequalities of wealth, income and power around the world. To accomplish this, there needs to be pressure from people, educators and activists on governments and businesses to rise to the challenge, they say.
Fossil fuels out
The WEF also says there needs to be a global energy transition and they maintain demand for fossil fuels peaked in 2019 – for good.
Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, said time is of the essence to save the planet from the climate crisis.
“In order to secure our future and to prosper, we need to evolve our economic model and put people and planet at the heart of global value creation. If there is one critical lesson to learn from this crisis, it is that we need to put nature at the heart of how we operate.”
‘You’ll own nothing, and you’ll be happy
The World Economic Forum aims for no personal property ownership by 2030. In their video, they state “You will own nothing and you will be happy.”
The Great Reset plan where “You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy” involves replacing shareholders of big companies with stakeholders, who critics say are left-wing bureaucrats and climate change zealots. It also replaces Mom and Pop small businesses and private enterprises with big tech and big business.
“The Great Reset will require us to integrate all stakeholders of global society into a community of common interest, purpose and action,” said Schwab.
“We need a change of mindset, moving from short-term to long-term thinking, moving from shareholder capitalism to stakeholder responsibility. Environmental, social and good governance have to be a measured part of corporate and governmental accountability.”
Trudeau supports ‘Great Reset’
At the UN on Sept. 29, 2020, Trudeau said the pandemic was an opportunity for a reset as laid out by the World Economic Forum and he used Joe Biden’s campaign slogan “build back better.”
Conservative MP speaks out

Saskatchewan politicians speak out against Great Reset
In November 2020, the Saskatchewan Buffalo Party took to the steps of the Saskatchewan Legislature and delivered an open letter to Premier Scott Moe.
The purpose of the letter was to hold the SaskParty accountable to election promises made to the people, and denounce the Prime Minister ushering in the ‘Great Reset.’
U.S. news host mentions Trudeau’s comments to UN
On Nov. 17, 2020, US Fox News host Tucker Carlson mentioned Trudeau’s comments to the UN and said, “The elites want COVID-19 lockdowns to usher in a ‘Great Reset’ and that should terrify you.”
Canadian politics make Australian News
This stuff is ‘crazy, kooky stuff’: Australian TV station highlights comments by Toronto Sun’s Brian Lilley and mentions Trudeau.
World’s most powerful meet
At a virtual meeting in June 2020 hosted by the World Economic Forum, some of the world’s most powerful business leaders, government officials and activists announced a proposal to “reset” the global economy. Instead of capitalism, the group said the world must adopt socialistic policies, such as wealth taxes, additional regulations and massive Green New Deal-like government programs.
“Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed,” said Schwab, in an article published on WEF’s website.
“In short, we need a ‘Great Reset’ of capitalism.”
Schwab said “all aspects of our societies and economies” must be “revamped,” from education to social contracts and working conditions.
Joining Schwab at the 2020 World Economic Forum meeting was Prince Charles, who is one of the primary advocates of the Great Reset. Others in attendance included CEOs and presidents of major international corporations, such as Microsoft and BP, Gina Gopinath, the chief economist at the International Monetary Fund, and António Guterres, the secretary-general of the United Nations.
At the June 2020 World Economic Forum, Prince Charles said the world needs a Great Reset.
The World Economic Forum is meeting in Davos, Switzerland, Jan. 25 – 29, 2021, and will reveal more details about their proposed Great Reset.
